Showtime Anytime App Reviews

I only use the app to browse what content is available. I can never stream anything via the app because I can never hear anything in the app. I have been using the app for nearly 3 years now & I feel that this has always been an issue.

App is relatively easy to navigate but video quality could be much better.

Repeatedly kicks you out of Apple TV and requires you to log in on your computer or use the app. "Your session has expired" is a constant in your life if you use this service. So bot recommend.

I cant figure out why Showtime is the only video streaming service that requires weekly reauthentication AND limits the number of devices I can register. Just cap the number of simultaneous streams like everyone else does.

Bought the $80 connector so I could stream from iPad to tv, but this app doesnt support its use? Even the Stars app and YouTube works with the apple connector. Very disappointed, to say the least.

The showtimeanytime app is a fraud. I pay for the tv service but the app will never download on an ipad so you can never access the service while traveling or visiting. My advice is forget showtime. HBO works just fine and has plenty of content.

Horrible experience with this poorly designed app. BUT the worst thing is I cant let gin with the correct entries. Uber lame.

Streams poorly, crashes, yet required on my phone even though I actually just want it on my roku. Forces you to "reauthorize" every couple weeks. Totally need to step up their game at showtime.

If Showtimes goal was to create a headache inducing on boarding experience for the consumer, they have succeeded beyond their wildest nightmares. While every other TV networks app zigs to ease of use, Showtimes zags to add needless layers of frustration and annoyance.

Two different ROKUs and my tablet: "Retrieving" on screen, in perpetuity, for each and every series. Then it crashes. Furious right now.

In the past this app forced me to sign back in every time I used it. I guess theyre afraid Ill drop their survice and steal it on my iPhone. Today, the log in page just has a spinning circle. So I cant log in. Now Im paying for a service I can use. Whos cheating who, ShowTime?

Its a great app. Love watching Shameless on it. The only issue i have is that the screen doesnt rotate when watching the videos. If you could fix that Id give it 5 stars.

As of 4/23 the app wont open on iPhone 6. Please fix

Great app but the audio does not sound good at all!! Low volume even when iPad is turned all the way up and the sound quality is not up to par. If I watch Netflix,HBO, and everything else its great but this app needs to fix the audio!! Please fix so I feel that I am getting my moneys worth!!

Id prefer to use this app to watch Showtime shows as opposed to the Xfinity app, which hasnt been updated in ages, but he audio quality of the shows when viewing here is unbelievably bad. Even if the video quality is great, the audio is muffled and sounds distant. Its ridiculous that this is the official Showtime app and it cant even properly play their own content.
