works great until it doesnt

I downloaded the app and registered through my cable subscription. Watched 3 shows, until buffering issues started. Now cant play anything at all, its been a few hours now. The same thing happened yesterday. The app doesnt seem stable. Also now it doesnt work when hooked to the tv via the Apple Digital lightening jack, which worked just fine a few months ago.
